An Opening Look at Universal's Wizarding World of Harry Potter

Travel & Tourism,Art and Culture,Recreation & Leisure
Recently I enjoyed my first look at the most current addition to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter exhibit inside the Universal Orlando Resort. For those who are not knowing what's going on, Universal Studios includes a couple of key parks areas: the Islands of Adventure and also Universal Studios. In the Islands of Adventure region Hogsmeade, a village where the film personalities went to school, has existed for a little while now. Universal just recently included a subsequent Harry Potter World version in the Universal Studios neighborhood. At this time we will discuss Diagon Alley plus the train that links both these parks together.

When you get the initial look at Diagon Alley, you'll go round a bend right into a whole new and very unique world. The whole thing has a very London feel to it, right down to a busker playing on the sidewalk. We understand that it wasn't an actual London busker because he didn't have his instrument case exposed to accept gratuities. But it surely made you think as though you'll be in a different world, and I think they ought to get unusually high marks when it comes to their genuineness. There will be a variety of shops and places to eat here, with the Leaky Cauldron the main eatery that offers UK food. Actually, all of the food products in Diagon Alley is definitely part of that authentic Harry Potter theme.

Absolutely the highlight in the area would be the Escape from Gringotts ride. It is a multidimensional adventure journey that sets you in the center of the action. It truly is exceptional, but moving through the Gringotts bank with the goblins/bankers was amazing. Their attention to detail on these elaborate animated personalities is fascinating, and they seem to have brought this whole art to the next level.

This really is still a particularly popular ride, therefore no matter whenever you count on a protracted wait. We had been there first thing in the morning during an off-peak time of year and still continued to wait forty five minutes; even so it had been well worth it. I think for individuals who are possibly not huge Harry Potter lovers they'll find that the whole area is a rewarding experience.

From here you might grab the Hogwarts Express to the Islands of Adventure side. This embarks from a not-to-authentic King's Cross Station, and although there are some interesting aspects of this train journey, I thought it was actually rather unsatisfying. It just felt like there is quite a bit more that could have actually been done to cause it to jump out, therefore I was anticipating more. Yet, Universal has certainly put a lot of money and effort with the two Harry Potter areas, and I will greatly recommend paying a visit to them while in the Orlando, Florida region.

If you are planning a vacation to this spectacular area, our article on Orlando will give you some interesting information on Disney World. You can find more about Florida on our site http://whattoseeinflorida.com/ and we welcome you to take a look. Jim O'Connell is an avid traveler and writer living in Chicago.
