Nature has offered brilliant resistances to the living forms, including the humans. All of us are conditioned as according to the inputs that we receive from the external environment. Skin tanning is one such response that is found almost invariably in all the individuals. By racial identities, we have acquired different colors of skin. The people of colder nations have generally lighter skin colors and reduced concentrations of Melanotan pigments. However, the UV vulnerabilities from the harsher climates have increased significantly in the last decade or so. This has led to an increase in the cases of skin cancer in these nations. The researches have established that the body’s inability to respond actively towards the solar radiation causes such vulnerabilities and thus delayed or inadequate Melanotan production to act as a shield.
Dedicated researches have led to the development of vial administered quick tanning stimulants which are peptide compounds capable of stimulating the naturally occurring MSH or Melanotan stimulating hormone. These products offer protection from the harsh sun rays and inherent UV radiations through the proper acquisition of the Melanotan pigments. Some artificial and externally applicable solutions have also been produced in the form of professional tanning equipment which are available as brush and spray applications. Most of the latter types make use of natural or nature identical artificially prepared formulations that are applied topically either as a lotion or through machines like sprayers. These products have become more popular as the saloon applications and are generally sought for the excursions or the beach spends so that the harmful radiations are cancelled out from affecting the skin cells.
The efficiency of the professional tanning equipment lies in their capacity to deliver an even flow throughout, almost as a microfilm on the body parts. The best of such equipments are used by the professional saloons and cosmeticians, the requisitioning from whom has risen sharply in the last decade. More number of people, particularly the ladies are seeking artificial skin tanning without getting it done naturally through hours of hot sun rays upon them. The demand represents the anthropogenic lags that are being suffered due to climate migrations in the last decades.
