The older folk in society are the pillars who guide us and give us advice. Thus, they need our care and protection when they are in their sunset years. This allows the staff members to practice their skill in taking care of the senior citizens more than spending time completing paperwork. In addition to that, the staff of the care homes should be judged according to their ability to take care of the residents and not their ability to complete paperwork. This allows them to be proud to create and foster relationships between them and the residents. The care home should have schedules that allow the staff to spend more of their daily time caring for the senior citizens than doing other things for example administrative duties and paperwork. This promotes the emotional relationships between them and the residents of the care home. The main purpose of the care home is to provide the senior citizens with care, love and respect during their sunset years. As such, the staff should be allowed to do this and trained by their leaders more than anything else.
