When in the market for used cars for sale, most people lean towards vehicles that are practical and affordable. There are others perhaps driven by some implacable passion, who let their hearts rule their heads. Christine In a 1980s Stephen King movie, teenage loner Arnold Cunningham, overtaken by love, buys a rundown 'Christine' for a mere $250. While Arnie sets out innocently to restore the car, Christine has designs of a more malevolent nature. Luckily this is not indicative of buying a used car. Though if you are interested in trying to tame this horror movie classic, there were 14 cars made to portray Christine with four still in existence today. One of them is currently on sale for a meager $170,000. One owner of the remaining three calmly jokes that, "she owns me." The General Lee In the early 1980s hit television show, "The Dukes Of Hazard", around 300 different versions were employed to depict the iconic automobile commonly known as The General Lee. In 2012, good ole boy and famous golfer, Bubba Watson, purchased one of these remaining famous rebel roadsters for $110,000. This particular vehicle can be seen in the opening credits making a spectacular daredevil jump. If outrunning the law is on your bucket list then there might be a General Lee out there just for you. K.I.T.T. Many cars today come equipped with electronic voice navigation systems. If you are pining for a more profound conversation with your automobile in the used cars for sale department, K.I.T.T. from the mid 80's "Knight Rider" series may be an option. Of the four models made for David Hasselhoff to fight crime in prime time, one of them was sold by a California auto dealer in 2007 for $100,000. The Delorean For the fanciful believers in time travel, there is a vehicle that might not be able to take you back and ask out the girl you always wanted to bring to the Enchanted Under The Sea Dance. But it may at least make you feel like it's 1985 again. Three such machines remain from the 7 built for the 1985 sci-fi romp "Back To The Future." Just don't tell Doc Emmett Brown that one of these time machines that he converted with his flex capacitor sold in 2011 for $541,000. If not for its connection to this Michael J. Fox tour de force, such a vehicle would only be valued at about $30,000. The Batmobile Again, if you are in the market for famous used cars, for sale in 2013 was the original Batmobile from the 1960's show "Batman," starring Adam West. Fetching a staggering 4.6 million dollars, this 4 wheeled bane for bad guys will get you noticed on trips to the supermarket. Perhaps you dream of racing in your own Herbie The Love Bug, or cruising off into the sunset like John Travolta in your own Grease Lightning. Or maybe you're just like me, only needing to get from point A to point B. When considering used cars for sale, North Olmsted residents visit Ganley Honda.
