Lots of people are walking around with rather large goals, often goals that might be hard to breakthrough on. Then they tend to wrap this day and many days to come around these goals and ideals. Then other issues come in, like recapturing lost chances from the past. When in fact it may or may not be that a particular chance is indeed unrepeatable in this exact form. Then this day begins with maybe not exactly what one would want or expect and since those expectations already seem unmet or deflated, there is a kind of running pessimism to the day itself that begins to become like just another spreading poison unfolding. In fact I am not really going to enjoy the day until everything I want in place and in order and I can let a day neatly unfold only from that position. These are the points where anyone can easily lessen the platform of the day that is already upon them, despite having some good things left to enjoy. Too much water from the past and future is rushing in on today’s golden moments which might be there. What could be some helpful or freeing thoughts where for once we could go into the day with positive hopes and expectations for what the day itself could contain with us and for us? One freeing thought is this, “ enjoy the uniqueness of the day.” This day within itself contains something unique, rare or even the only one of it’s kind that can only be found in these moments in these days. It is a stand out or stand alone moment found only in this day. And this day as it comes will offer this, if you will only be ready to receive it. This uniqueness will be found if you allow for it, if you let it happen. And it will always have the aspect of invitation, of the positive, of being for you and to you. With all the burdensome thoughts are yesteryear's troubles and tomorrows uncertain hopes, put some extra hope in this day by looking forward to and finding the uniqueness only found in this day, that no other day ever will or ever could offer.
