The Terracotta Soldiers This is in fact one of the most important archeological discoveries of the 20th century. A huge number of life-sized soldiers made out of mud were discovered in the tomb of Chin Howang, the King of China in the 3rd century BC. The Leshan Giant Buddha The Leshan giant Statue of Buddha was constructed between the 10th and the 7th century AD during the ruling period of the Tang Dynasty. It is considered the largest statue of Buddha in the whole world and the site is included in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Being more than 70 meters in height and around 24 meters in width, the statue amaze any tourists who visit China.
