Unfortunately, no matter how well built, cars will at some stage have a fault that needs to be looked at. Even the newest vehicles on the road encounter problems. Realistically, you are very unlikely to encounter all of these issues in one go. If you do, then you are extremely unlucky. However, the most common issue with older vehicles is the battery. Unfortunate for new car owners and those that have recently passed their driving tests, but probably one of the cheaper repairs that you will complete on a vehicle. Car batteries vary in price but can be picked up from anywhere between £30 and £150. It really does depend on the battery that you require and the labour charges associated with your chosen mechanic.
