This article highlights an interview with Edward Morgan Sr., conducted by Edward Morgan Jr., using questions developed by Sarah Ingle. In 2013, Edward Morgan Sr. created a startup company called Revitalize Charging Solutions (RCS), which provides stations for people with electric cars to charge them. Mr. Morgan specializes in the design and production of these charging stations, which takes place primarily in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The electric car industry is an up-and-coming sector of the market that will only grow larger with time. It has even been said that electric cars could take over the market within the next couple decades (Orcutt 2016). After working for a couple of different companies for several years, Mr. Morgan decided to branch out and start his own company. He realized the potential for success in the market, and decided to take his chances as an entrepreneur. Doing this was a huge risk, but he knew that the reward for doing so could make it all worth it. After long hours of tireless work, investment of substantial resources, and experiencing successes and failures along the way, Mr. Morgan has built the foundations for a thriving business. Right now, the biggest challenge he faces is finding a good sales team. Finding a great team of people that can work together to further a company is crucial. Without one, it makes it tougher to accomplish certain goals. Having a solid team in place would make operations run more smoothly for RCS. Mr. Morgan’s story makes it easy to understand that being an entrepreneur is risky, but being in the right place, at the right time, with the right product can pay off in the long run. Orcutt, Mike.
