The combined gas law can be referred to as a gas law made up by the combination of Charles law, the Gay-Lussac’s law, and the Boyle’s law. There is no known official founder of the joint gas law but it is an amalgamation of the three laws which were previously discovered. These three laws relate to one thermodynamic variable. Charles’s law normally states that temperature and volume are directly proportional to each other when pressure is held constant. Boyle’s law states that volume and pressure are inversely proportional when the temperature remains constant. Gay-Lussac’s law normally introduces a directly proportional to the pressure and the temperature when volume remains constant. There is inter-dependence of the variables in the joint gas law and it states as the ration between pressure-volume product and temperatures remains constant. The combined law can be mathematically expressed like PV/ T= k where P is the pressure, T is the temperature, V is the volume and k are constant. The combined gas law is ideal for explaining the mechanics where temperature, pressure, and volume are affected.
