This ravine, known locally as a barranco, is an excellent venue to explore if you're looking for something off the beaten path. A day spent here is a treat for nature-lovers looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the resorts. The Abandoned Quarry and Base The paths from Son Bou to Alaior are typified by quiet country lanes, which ultimately lead to an abandoned quarry and some decaying military structures. The latter destinations provide a hauntingly beautiful backdrop for the intrepid explorer, and are well worth the time to check out.
