In life, we spend a portion of our lives with our families and friends. However, our friends may come and go. Our families have their own lives too and build their own families. Then we spend our lives focusing on ourselves, on our growth, on our studies and careers. And then we meet the perfect person. This person is not perfect in a sense that he/she does not have flaws. Of course he/she still does. This person is not a superhuman. He/she still has shortcomings but we love this person anyway. This person is perfectly imperfect. He/she has flaws but this person still fits into our lives like it was meant to be. Our hands fit perfectly in theirs. It just feels right to be with them. This person makes us love who we are and makes us want to be a better person. And that's how we know that he/she is "the one". The one we want to spend the rest of our lives with. The one whom we want to be with us throughout this journey called life. The one we want to build our hopes and dreams with. The one we want to start our own family with. But it is not yet time. We are too young. We are still too busy. We still have to focus on other different things which are not each other. We still have to establish ourselves for us to be financially capable to get married and have a family. And so we make a promise using promise rings for couples set.
