They also correlate with cellular insulin resistance, which is a precursor to Type 2 diabetes. There is no denying that the bottlers get away with far more than they should be allowed to, but there is a reason that they have not been caught up in recalls more often that should infuriate you. If a bottling company manufactures their water and then ships it within the same state they are not subject to testing for harmful contaminants.
