When I was a newbie and started to run my first home based business ideas, I had an idea to do it for free, investing only my time. I thought that I had to presell the idea of my site to every visitor, so that they are already enthusiastic about my internet business ideas before they land to my site. This job I handled with the optimized articles, which I distributed to hundreds of article directories. At the end of each article I had my Bio Box, with the hyperlinked link to my home page. I Made The Powerful Search Engines To Work For Me. The idea was to draw my site to the first place or page of the search engines result pages of selected keywords. This succeeded, which meant regular, organic traffic. I also wrote a sexy description copy, because that was the short text ad, which web surfers saw at the search engine result pages. I Added A Blog On My Site. The idea of running a blog was to serve my site visitors quickly and to share business tips about my home based business ideas I put the blog on my own server, which meant that the search engines saw that I updated my site regularly. I also added the social bookmarking service with which I could send short text ad to about 20 bookmarking sites, when I added a new post. I optimized every post with low demand, long tail keywords. This system works extremely well, I even reached first places on several result pages. On the top of the posts, I added lots of affiliate links and banners to my blog and it started to sell also quite well. At this writing, I get around 50 daily visitors to my blog, all with free advertising. I Started To Post To Forums. My major affiliate program has its own section on one of the most respected internet home based business forum. I joined and started to share my experiences about the marketing of my home based business ideas. This system brings some traffic, but is also very important because of the many new ideas and news. This is more or less the marketing system for my home based business ideas. I have no plan to change it but I try to improve it step by step.
