With great leaps made in software and Internet speeds we are not able to do more in less time on the Internet then we've every been able to before. Things like guitar lesson videos, live entertainment, and even Spanish lessons are popping up on a number of both free and membership based websites. So how can you take advantage of all this and learn a second language like Spanish online? That's what we're about to look into. Taking Advantage of Free Resources There is a ton of material both audio and video thats free online to learn Spanish with. I'd suggest you start here before you spend any money on software or a membership website . The first place to check should likely be YouTube, it's a huge catalog of videos from thousands if not millions of members from around the globe. Do a search for “learn Spanish” or “Spanish lessons” and you should get over 100 different results. Why do I suggest you start with videos rather then finding a free ebook or report? Becuase video is the hottest growing trend on the web. Everyone looking to market themselves or get themselves known are using video to do so. If you'd prefer to use an audio lesson you can load up on your MP3 player or even burn to a cd I suggest you do a search for free “Spanish podcasts”. I've come across a few on educational audio book sites. This might take you a couple of hours to piece together some free material but it's better then spending a few hundred bucks on lessons, a tutor, or a softare package. So How do you learn Advanced Spanish and Conversational Skills? It's a long shot that you'll be able to become fluent in Spanish just from using free resources. You'll likely have to invest in some sort of educational program or course to take your Spanish skills and knowledge to the next level. I'd look at a learn Spanish software package since this will allow you to still learn at home and on your own terms. Many of the software packages available will offer as much content as a year or two worth of private classes will. You just need to know what to look for before buying. Here's a list of the three most important aspects of a learn Spanish package to look for. 1.)Does the software teach you conversational skills or focus on memorizing words (look for conversational skills lots of words are no good if you can't make sentences with them) 2.)Does the software focus on learning correct pronounciation 3.)Is there more then just beginner lessons in the software? Or will you need to buy multiple packages. Look for one that covers from beginner to advanced. The most important part of the points listed above is the conversational aspect. Many programs and private tutors teach memorization to learn Spanish. This doesn't help you're conversational skills and often times you'll end up knowing lots of words but not being able to communicate any better in Spanish.
