If you follow the product funnel theory in the development of your Internet marketing products, you likely create free, low-cost, mid-priced and high-cost products. One of the things to focus on accomplishing is to make use of all products that you create in as many ways as possible. With the exception of some of the very high end products where you present unique content, most of the information used from one product to the next in the product funnel is very similar. You may add more details and aids of some type, but the core content is the same. Don’t withhold any information during your product creation work. There should be no secrets. Just remember to present the pertinent information associated with your product topic. For example, there are times at the very high end of the product funnel where you provide one on one interaction. That interaction with you is the opportunity for clients to really ask their hard questions and to understand what you are communicating. You may decide to withhold some highly technical information on other products where the opportunity for interaction does not exist. Once you have chosen your niche, you must become an expert if you aren’t already. If you plan to write on your chosen topic or if you plan to record an audio product, or even create a video, make sure you are an expert on the topic. If required you need to do some research, or bring in other experts to contribute to your product. Take the actions required to really gain the specific knowledge on your topic. That way you can provide true, accurate information that will be of the greatest value to your clients. With your research done, you are ready to begin your product creation efforts. Start with an outline of the master product you plan to create. What are the key messages you want to convey? Jot them down. There should be between 8-to-10 of these key topics to be covered in your product. For example these could become your chapters if you are creating a book or eBook. Next add the details you plan to discuss under each of the key topics or chapters. Again work to add between 8-to-10 discussion points for each chapter or main topic. When all of your writing is done these all come together to create your finished product. The same outline can be used as the basis for other products you create following the product funnel as well. There may be some edits or changes, but the core information from your outline can be used again and again. To your product creation success!
