My husband is always trying to get me to wear very inappropriate clothing. Now that I am over 35 and have two children I feel like I should be dressing more conservatively but he always wants me to wear a micro mini skirt or a short dress which shows my knickers. I think that this type of clothing is okay for young people and for going out clubbing or in the house but to just wear it all the time just does not feel right. I know that his parents are very conservative and think that all skirts should be below the knee and that tops should not be low cut. I know that they are old fashioned but it does make me think that perhaps he should be more mindful of their views when he is in their house. Sometimes I think that he wants to show me off to them or something but I am sure that isn't necessary now that we have been married for nearly ten years. I think that there are far too many sexy dresses on the market and it can be hard to find one that isn't. There is a difference between being stylish and being sexy. You can still show off your best bits but in a more hidden way. This can be more provocative in a way because you can only catch glimpses of what is on offer and you have to use your imagination to wonder whether there is a pair of sexy panties or maybe nothing underneath, rather than being able to see what is underneath because the skirt is so short. Perhaps it is just me being old fashioned or just the fact that I tend to play on the floor with the children a lot, that I do not like the idea of wearing short skirts any more. I am also sure that they do not suit me because I am tall and so they make my legs look even longer – I wonder whether a slightly longer skirt makes me look more in proportion anyway. I must admit that I do tend to wear trousers more because I tend to not be very elegant and so feel that they suit me better. I guess he would be happy if I had two sets of outfits – one for at home and one for when we go out but I think that is a waste of money and not practical.
