How to Wear T Shirts to Achieve a Smart Casual Look: Men's Fashions

Fashion & Cosmetics

T shirts are a staple item in the male wardrobe. It is the most popular of choices in tops for men. However, the t shirt is also widely considered to form part of a casual wardrobe. Unfortunately, because so many men love and wear their t shirts so regularly, they need a way to glam it up. Otherwise, they tend to come across as a little scruffy, a little unkempt, and frankly, as if they do not care about their appearance. Well, if you are a man and you love your t shirts, but you want to look a bit sexier, a bit more suave, then you can do, you just need to know how to accessorise and dress up your t shirts; and this is what we will teach you in the proceeding article.

Back to Basics
First things first, if you want to wear t shirts as part of a more formal attire, then you need to buy t shirts that are plain, or that have a subtle graphic print. This means that you need to avoid all of the sports t shirts and many of the leading brands. You can wear Religion t shirts, and other edgy designer t shirts, because their patterning and graphic prints tend to be subtle and understated. If you choose anything but plain block colours, then make sure the graphics and patterns are subtle. Imagery needs to use subtle colours, such as stone, grey and black (preferably set against a white back ground), which is precisely the type of design that you will find on Religion t shirts.

Fit
This is something that men generally care less about, but it is vitally important. You need to make sure that you t shirts are well fitted and tailored. They need to emphasise your physique and create a svelte silhouette. Now, you may think that this sounds a little too much like preening, but if you want to create a sophisticated look, you are going to have to start caring about fit.

Layering
Layering is a fantastic way to create a more urbane outfit. This is because you can downplay any casual items; by surrounding, those with items of clothing that are more fashionable. Here, you are not hiding the casual item, but rather, you are dressing them up. By wearing highbrow clothing around your t shirt, you automatically raise its status. Things that look good in a semi-formal setting-when teamed with a t shirt—include blazers, smart jackets, and smart, but open shirts. In terms of the type of trousers you wear, try sticking to something other than jeans, such as a pair of chinos or cigarette trousers. If you do want to wear jeans, then make sure that they are straight cut, tailored, and fitted.

Accessories
When you accessories you show the world that you care about your appearance, and this naturally lifts you up from the casual look. When you are casual, you are saying that you are not too worried about your appearance, but by adding a few accessories, you are saying that you do care, and this automatically comes across as a little more formal as something that is strictly casual.
