Author Comment / Biography: Lisa Hayes is an entrepreneur, life coach, mother, and friend. In her writing, speaking engagements, and classes she teaches, her primary goal is working with women to help them achieve peace, and even bliss, in the chaos of their everyday lives. Lisa began the pursuit of the healing arts more then a decade ago when she completed her degree in natural health and nutrition. She continued that path as a yoga and meditation instructor before becoming a life coach. Lisa is also a Certified/Registered Hypnotherapist. She utilizes the insight she received from her training in every project she undertakes. Lisa is also a partner in an independant technology firm, and is considered one of the front runners in using new media as a platform for coaching and teaching. She is the mother of two sons, Caleb and baby Kingston. “This book poured out of me. I meant to write just a few pages and by the time I quit writing this work had emerged. My deepest thanks go out to all the women who have read this book and shared this book with their loved ones. Great change will happen one woman at a time.”

November 01, 2009
When you talk to women, (and men) about their bad relationships and why they stay, three themes tend to emerge. Three excuses that keep people trapped not just in bad relationships, but in lives they never intended to live. The problem with a bad relationship is simple. It becomes a prison. It b...

14. Ignorance Might Be Better
November 01, 2009
A few days ago my husband asked me to do something. This was something I had been a bit negligent about, and was so obviously mine to do it's too embarrassing to even say what it was. The unusual thing about this exchange was he actually had a "tone". You'd have to meet my incredible husband to k...

I ran into a friend this morning I hadn't seen in a long time. Cindy looked tired and stressed and was more then anxious to share. "I'm breaking up with my boyfriend today." She continued to tell me how she was too frustrated with this guy to continue her relationship. He had a consistent track ...

17. Top Ten Words to Elimate from Your Vocabulary
October 26, 2009
I'd be rich if I had a dime for every time I heard something to the effect of, "I'm focusing on the things I want. I really am. I have a positive attitude. I really do. BUT, it's not working. Where's my stuff?". If I had a dime for every time I thought something like that myself, I'd be a mill...

18. Three Things in a Marriage More Important than Love
October 26, 2009
My grandmother used to tell me when it comes to men, love is never a good enough reason to do anything, anything at all. I used to think what she meant by "anything at all" was sex. As I grew up I came to understand she did in fact mean sex, but she also especially meant marriage. I loved my firs...

19. It's Only True If It's Breathtakingly Beautiful
October 19, 2009
The theme of my week has been simple. Just because I think it doesn't mean it's true. That goes for you too. At all costs, avoid believing your thoughts, especially the ones that make you nervous, anxious, worried, angry, or fearful. Just because you think it doesn't make it true or real. ...

20. Top Ten Reasons to Seek Professional Help for your Marriage
October 19, 2009
I believe that many marriages derail and end in divorce because both partners ignore the very obvious warning signs. I'm not sure why people, particularly women, stick their heads in the sand when things are beginning to fall apart. Probably fear. They are afraid of conflict, afraid of change, af...
