SkillSelect is a unique incorporation Under Australia’s Laws Of Immigration. This new addition has come into effect from July 02, 2012. This new introduction of amendments strives to change perspective of whole skilled migration scheme. Instead of selecting candidates from scores of applications, authorities are going to get requests only from those applicants whose trades feature in Skilled trades List – SOL. This concept • Is refined and straightforward in approach. • Is characterized by a completely automated interactive platform • Has phased out human interference to a great extent. • Is motivated by compelling factors to service various sectors of economy in federal and regional perspectives. • Also offers an optional service for employers who would like to forego alternative of exploring overseas resources for recruitment. This system has been integrated into skilled immigration scheme and elementary changes incorporated in Australian Laws of Immigration. Visa statutes have been completely remodeled. A long list of visa sub-classes has been streamlined by introducing new sub–sections through merger and amalgamation of old diversely defined classifications i.e. independent, regional endorsements, employer sponsorships and business classes. Under this new arrangement whole concept is managed by automated system. Migrants aspiring to apply for visa now have to complete all formalities at first step itself.
