Have you ever read a story or an article and thought to yourself, “I’m sure I could do that”? Well the truth is that you probably could. If you get lucky and choose the right publisher straightaway, you could be in print almost as soon as you’ve finished writing your story. Unfortunately, things don’t turn out quite like that. Even J.K. Rowling (Harry Potter) was turned down quite a few times. I bet those publishers are kicking themselves now! But what a great life it is when you make the break through. I bet you’ve had the following experience now and again. You wake up in the morning and peep out from under the bedclothes to look at the clock. “Blast! It’s 7.30 already and I’m late for work….again”. You leap out of bed. Well ok, you fall slowly out of bed and make your way to the bathroom. Then you realise your mistake. “YES! YES! YES! It’s Saturday.” So you put the TV or radio on and sit down to relax with a cup of coffee, not tired at all now that it’s Saturday. If you’re a writer working from home, every morning is like Saturday morning. No more commuting like a zombie with all the other zombies. No more crushing onto a train along with a hundred others in a carriage which was built for 60 people! But only a few people will make any money writing novels and/or short stories, let alone make a living. So how can you make a good living out of writing? Well just think of all the articles, reviews, business adverts and advertising copy that are produced every day throughout the world. Someone has to write it. But individual companies don’t always have enough work for a permanent member of staff to be a writer. So what do they do? They pay people just like you to write for them as and when they need you to. So if you were in touch with several different companies, you’d have permanent, well-paid writing work. Build up your reputation and you’d have more work than you could cope with. All extremely well paid. In fact, hundreds if not thousands of people are quietly working away every day doing just that. And the amazing thing is that many of them are not all that talented at writing! But they can churn out what the companies need. They work for companies such as 20th Century Fox, Paramount Entertainment, Ford Motor Company and Google. But, of course they don’t work for them in the normal sense. They work at home, writing reviews about films they’ve seen or their experience with a certain make of car. There are literally hundreds of firms needing people to ‘proof read’ material each and every day. There are stay at home mums making a full-time living. Some people make an excellent second income. And others are writing alongside their everyday job. In fact, writers come from all walks of life. It really doesn’t matter what your circumstances are. Many people are making $500 a day. Some are making a lot more! So what do you need to do to break into this lucrative income generator? Writing at home is a great way to make money while also being able to spend more time with family and friends. When you know which companies are currently seeking writers, then you can make a very good living. Discover how you can you break into this lucrative writing field at http://www.writers.myfw.us
