A Look At Macrame Bracelet Patterns

Crafts,Hobbies,Fashion & Cosmetics
Macrame is a method of textile weaving through knots, that was used for the first time during the thirteenth century among the Arabian weavers. Initially it started as a means of stopping towels, shawls and bed sheets from coming apart but nowadays, there are an entire hand loomed fabrics produced completely from macramé. Its main type of knots is the rectangle knots. As for macramé bracelet patterns, the rectangle knot is the easiest to use and of course, the most common. Even though the rightful origin of macramé bracelets is vague, today, they are popular with the old and the young alike, the western and the eastern, and with men and women at the same time. In other words, they are popular with both sexes and all categories of age, and race you can think of. Macramé bracelet models are of many types and variations, ensuring that those with special preferences can combine them with their fashion. This article talks about some of the most popular macramé bracelet patterns and how you can create your personal fashionable macramé, so keep reading to see what would suit you the best.

The square knot, often called the reef knot or put simply, the binding knot, was invented to fix a particular item through a rope or thread. It is a relatively easy process by applying the 'right over left and left over right' tactic of bringing two ropes together. It is classified by many as a very secure knot that normally can only be undone by it being cut. If your personal macramé bracelet model includes decorative elements like shells, beads and other small adornments, it is possible to put it all together using this type of knot. Many other knots that can be used for a highly exquisite macramé bracelet pattern include Surgeon's knot, Shoelace knots, thief knot, Grief knot and the famous Granny knot.

Many of the knots need many hours of practice. Also, it is imperative to utilize thick cords varying in colors and drawing pins. When you have perfected at least two kinds of knots and have created a macrame bracelet design that you like, it is time to get to work. The designs depicted with sea-shells will always be highly fashionable. The square knot can be used to secure the selected shells, you have the option of drilling a gap in the chosen shell and attaching a cord. This is recognized to be the easier way of doing things, but it does make the entire macramé experience not as personalized. as if you used more complicated ways

As for micro-macramé bracelet patterns, you should use cords that are about 2 mm in thickness, and arm yourself with plenty of handiness and endurance. Micro-macramé is one of the most preferred kinds of handiwork, because of the monotonous work they require. Some of the macramé bracelet patterns that are trendy include rainbow macramé's, that are made with cords of a series of vivid colors and fit the reggae style, double hitch macramé’s, metallic bracelets that include metal beads or spikes enclosed between thread knots, triangle bracelets, spiral and round bracelets - all produced by tying the exact nuances of cords with the proper knots.
