Planning a long road trip is always a crazy holidaying. We planned to start with Bangalore to Mysore being well-known and well connected route. It starts with hiring a cab from Bangalore to Mysore. There are many fears when we book a taxi or a cab online but here fortunately we succeeded with best services. Early in the morning our journey started from Bangalore and the way follows through Bidaddi and Ramanagara. Mysore is just about 140 km away from Bangalore which is nearly 3 hrs drive. The advantage of having Bangalore to Mysore taxi ride is that you can maintain timings and could visit almost all tourist attractions in and around Mysore. It is always suggested to visit Mysore during the Dussehra celebrations as the famous Mysore palace and the streets would be decorated with lights. The popular places you should not miss in your Bangalore to Mysore trip are Mysore Palace, Chamundi Hills, Mysore Zoo, St.Philomena’s Church, Jagan mohan Art Gallery, Srirangapatna and Brindavan Gardens and adjacent KRS Dam. If the trip is well planned it doesn’t take more than one day for all the tourist destinations and even you can return to Bangalore the same day. Plan such that the last spot you visit is Brindavan Gardens as visiting the gardens in the evening is always an advantage as the lightning show attracts kids and young couples and it is always cool to play in the gardens. When you visit the nearby places of Mysore you travel along with the Cauvery River too which makes your journey cool one and three sides of Srirangapatna is surrounded by water bodies. From Bangalore there are many other places to visit in taxi or cab like Ooty, Tirupati, Wayanad, Belur, Coorg, Goa, Chennai, Munnar are few to name. I have heard many times in my friend circle about Coorg and its beautiful ride through the Coffee estates. Now, we are looking forward to plan for a similar road trip hiring a taxi from Bangalore to Coorg. The other advantage when you are planning to have taxi rides from Bangalore and you need to come from other cities then book a cab from Bangalore Airport itself which saves your time too.
