Sometimes, this can actually let the flavors of what you are making become more "married". You will find that preparing ahead will become a habit that you greatly value. To cook flavorful veggies that turn out well, use chicken broth. It will keep veggies from getting stuck to the bottom of the pan and add a little flavor. You can make your own chicken broth or you can buy it at most any supermarket at a very low price. Use cooking oil when you are measuring out things that are sticky. By applying a light coat of oil to your substance, you can make it easier to clean up. Peanut butter and honey can be measured this way as well. Here are some new tricks to try with oysters. Oysters can be prepared in multiple ways even though they are typically eaten on the half shell with a smidge of lemon juice. When baking crust for pie or tarts, leave them in the oven to bake a little longer than you planned. Rather than pale blonde, they should have a golden caramel color. This deeper color is evidence that the sugar has caramelized in the crust for added sweetness. Dark greens are really healthy. However, they can be hard to prepare. Greens usually have thick stems that can be a hassle to remove. To turn it into a simple chore, all you need to do is fold the leaf lengthwise, and simply break the stem from the middle. You could also slice the stem off the folded leaf using a knife. Once you unfold the leaf, you will have a nicely unstemmed green.
