Who can survive the blistering heat of summer without their air conditioning running? Could you live through the chilling winter nights and days knowing you could have a heater running? If you're like many people, the thought is unbearable, and you and everyone else should be grateful to the guy who invented air conditioning systems in the first place. The luxary he has introduced into our lives is immeasurable. Heating and cooling processes combine to regulate air temperature in an air conditioning system. Most transportation today comes with a great air conditioning system so that people can remain comfortable as they drive to their destinations. The larger plants of the industry tend to need very specific temperature control in order to keep their exceptional standard of product quality. This helps them to be more effective during operational hours. The idea of a/c that we all love so greatly could very well have started back in the caveman days. Willis Carrier is the man responsible for the a/c knowledge that we utilize today, though. As an engineer he put forth very simplistic steps for designers to take in order to manipulate air temperatures. Early research was done in the 1930s, but it wasn't until 15 years later that it started becoming more widely used as demand grew. By the 50s, it was becoming the norm for many housing areas to have an air conditioning unit installed. Obviously, thanks to Mr. Carrier, we have a lot more comfort in our daily lives. Air conditioning brings a lot of relaxing and favorable conditions that many of us fail to even notice these days. Its a great thing, though, and it is not to be forgotten.
