Last night on Smallville, Black Canary made her first appearance, and brought us back the Green Arrow's long-awaited return appearance. He began flirting with Lois, but since that didn't work out, pursued Black Canary instead, as he convinced her to skip town with him and become part of the Justice League. Green Arrow and Black Canary have a complicated relationship in the DC Comics, so many people expect the same for their television counterparts. Many BuddyTV readers have reacted to the various storylines that "Siren" has revealed, and here's what they have to say about it. lanarocks was in tears upon seeing Oliver and Lois reveal their feelings to each other. "When I saw Lois and Oliver together I almost cried. I knew the moment they saw each other again, all those feelings would come back. I also knew that they would eventually have to have the 'I can't date you' talk. I loved that Oliver came back. He's a really good character and I wish he could have stayed for a couple seasons." Another reader talked about Black Canary's entrance to the show. alacia88 said that she was quite skeptical about the character, adding that "[Black Canary] actually wasn't as awful as I was expecting - even in the hooker fishnets (although she's gotta loose that black eye make-up... the person she's trying to save will be dead by the time she finishes applying the face paint.) She held her own as a superhero, though - even if she had good-side/ bad-side mixed up - Ollie set her straight. Go JL team!!" More or less, though, a lot of viewers were really into Green Arrow and the various storylines he had in the show. He had just broken up with Lois, who would eventually end up with Clark , and will soon be hooking up with Black Canary, if the character stays faithful to the comics. Other viewers, on the other hand, just wanted to get rid of Lana for good, as their drama would never end. Nyferia said, "I was really hoping this would be the episode that ended Clark and Lana's relationship. I cheered when I saw her packing. Then they had their heart to heart [and] I couldn't help but roll my eyes. She's a liar, and has slept with two of Clark 's enemies. Lana said it herself, she will never be good enough for him." Smallville's next episode will follow the continuous search for Kara while Clark takes on a tour of Lex's mind. Watch out for more Smallville actions when it hits our television screens.
