Summer is almost knocking on the door and, to be honest, I can't wait to let it in. This season's "must have" definitely are big statement pieces. It doesn't matter what you prefer - bracelets, earring, necklaces, brooches, what matters is that you can go all crazy with it and rock all the possible colors and shapes. Don't be afraid to mix colors. Forget about the boring classic combinations and try something really fun - orange and fuchsia, grass green and purple, brick red and salmon. Yes, and don't give into the stereotype that silver and gold doesn't go together. In fact, they complement each other a lot. The art is to understand whether you are the "warm" or "cool" type and use more the metal which works with your skin tone, adding little accents of the other one. Of course, it is very important to keep the outfit simple; otherwise it will be too much. Chunky jewellery doesn't like competitors - it likes to shine alone. Talking about colors for clothing, I must add that pastels and reserved colors are "in" this summer. See, even the more reason to emphasize your look with a shimmery chunky piece of jewellery. The prices vary a lot. A pair of interesting earrings might cost only 10$, but sadly the quality is not guaranteed at all. It is better to invest a bit more, to get a better outcome and actually be able to wear them the next summer as well. We all do know that rhinestones have this nasty habit jumping out of their place, and metallic color - coming off. I would really like to resist suggesting a certain brand, because, frankly, each store offers something original. My favorite at the moment are oriental motives, as well as pin-up girl inspired jewellery. Oh yes, and since I have an obsession with owls and penguins, I have several impressive pieces with a stylized image of those lovely animals. It is not suggested to have more than two chunky pieces at a time. For example, if you like emphasizing your neck, use a really awesome necklace and try to find a matching ring. Earrings would be way too much in this case. You don't want to look like a Christmas tree in the Orthodox Church. If you don't know which items to choose, think about your positive aspects. For example, if you have long lean fingers, a massive original ring will look fabulous on you. As for me, I always have thought that my neck could be longer, so I like to choose long dangly earrings to visually elongate it. The most important thing is to allow yourself to shine. Release your inhibitions. Now everything is allowed and we should embrace it. To know more about stylish and trendy accessories for summer season, please visit my website: www.style4season.com
