While many entrepreneurial-minded people agree that network marketing is one of the best ways to earn a substantial living, with the potentiality of earning tens of thousands of dollars a month, few report discovering a formula for success in network marketing. The main reason for the dismal failure of most people who join a networking marketing company is not due to the product, nor to the compensation plan, nor even due to the network marketing company itself. Instead it is due to one single thing: new recruits are never taught how to market. However, there are three ways to create success. First, create a platform. The way to do it is to build your own self-hosted Wordpress blog. This is easy to do-all you need is to buy a domain name, buy a hosting account, upload the files for your blog onto the hosting account and choose a free skin or buy a skin that you can upload to your blog. If you are not willing to learn how to do it yourself, you can hire the work out. This entire process is not complicated, nor is it expensive, because there are many outsourcing websites like guru.com or elance.com where you can get freelancers to bid for your project. Second, consider blog commenting and guest blogging. Besides blogging on your own blog, you should blog on other people's blog. You can do this by either making comments about posts you read or by emailing the owner of the blog and asking if you can do a guest blog for them at no charge. Steps to begin blog commenting and guest blogging: - Find 5 blogs in your niche that you admire and would like to read regularly and make contributions. By sticking to only a few blogs, the blog owners will come to notice you and consider you a fan. They will, therefore, be more likely to allow you to guest blog based on your intelligent responses to their blog posts in your blog comments. - Figure out different ways to add value while blog commenting. For instance, you can add personal anecdotes that tie in with the topic of the blog post. - Find good blogs by either using Guy Kawasaki's directory of popular blogs, which is called Alltop, or by using Technorati, which focuses on identifying the top 100 blogs for small businesses. Third, sign up for social media websites. Simply sign up on well-trafficked social media websites like Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn and share your blog posts on these sites.
