Royal Caribbean International has been voted India’s ‘Favourite Cruise Line’ by the readers of Conde Nast Traveller India for the second consecutive year! The cruise line was presented the award at the Conde Nast Traveller India Readers’ Travel Awards 2012 ceremony at The Oberoi, Gurgaon on 29 November 2012. The Conde Nast Traveller India Readers’ Travel Awards are recognized internationally as a benchmark for excellence in the travel and tourism industry. Conde Nast Travel Awards are given out annually in India to honour brands in the travel industry for their strong commitment towards product and service excellence. The readers of Conde Nast Traveller India who are discerning global travellers, participated in the publication’s annual survey, evaluating cruise lines in nine areas: Accommodation, Activities, Ambience, Child-Friendliness, Entertainment, Food, Itineraries and Variety of Destinations, Service, and Value for Money. Once again, Royal Caribbean International emerged the clear winner on all counts. Ratna Chadha, CEO, TIRUN Travel Marketing which is the India Representative of Royal Caribbean International, received the award on behalf of the cruise line. Accepting the award Mrs. Chadha said, “All of us at TIRUN and Royal Caribbean are honoured to receive this award for the second consecutive year, as it is a recognition of our service and a genuine validation of our commitment to deliver a lifetime experience onboard each of our ships across the world.” She added, “We thank the Indian travellers for their trust and faith in us and going forward, we hope to serve many more Indian guests on our cruise ships.”
