05/07/12 -- IndustrialTechnology Research Institute (ITRI), the largest applied R&Dorganization in Taiwan, is set to release 190 cases including 291patents. ITRI invites private companies to register their bids forthese patents before May 29th. The patents to be released arerelated to six fields including: Electronics and Optoelectronics;Advanced Manufacturing Systems; Information and Communications;Material, Chemical and Nanotechnology; Energy and Environment;Biomedical technology. The patents to be transferred include thecomponents and process technology for fabricating thin filmtransistor (TFT) and Liquid Crystal Display (LCD). These patentsprovide leading edge technologies for companies in these fields toboost their patent portfolio strategy. ITRI has been dedicated to promoting the advancement of Taiwan'sdiverse high-tech industries. Founded in 1973, ITRI has nurturedmore than 70 CEOs, 170 innovative companies, and accumulated morethan 16,000 patents.
