Just as women use hair styles to express their personality, men can use their facial hair to do the same. Using basic techniques and products provided by The Art of Shaving, you can do lots of different things with your facial hair to express yourself. You can do a mustache or goatee, a full beard, or let yourself have some stubble. Mustache and Goatee You've probably heard the joke, "I mustache you a question." The mustache trend is both a legitimate trend and an extremely popular joke. People are painting mustaches onto the sides of their fingers, or they're using a paper mustache like a masquerade mask. You don't have to resort to any of those things because you can grow out a real mustache. Careful with this though. Keep it simple and short above your upper lip to avoid looking outdated, retro, or creepy. Another option is to add to your mustache with a goatee. There are lots of ways to do this, with a simple patch directly under your bottom lip, or with a fuller beard on your chin. You can also allow the hair to grow down both sides of your mouth for a full goatee. Keeping this tidy is pretty high maintenance but is often flattering. Real Men Grow Beards Beards are extremely popular right now among songwriters and average Joes alike. Pogonotrophy (growing a beard) is fairly flexible. A full beard connects to your sideburns and includes all the hair above your lip and surrounding your jaw. You can keep it short and tidy or let it grow long like the members of ZZ Top. Bear in mind that the more unkempt your beard, the more you will look like a mountain man. Stubble It Up While this often happens because men would prefer not to use their skills in The Art of Shaving, stubble can look very attractive. Something about a five o'clock shadow can look very rugged and masculine even though it was the opposite of work to grow. If your facial hair grows quickly, consider just shaving every other day or so to keep this look and to attract women with it. The Art of Shaving has become the best-selling men’s brand at high-end department stores. Their own stores can be found in over 66 locations nationwide. The Art of Shaving was acquired by Procter & Gamble in June 2009. The Art of Shaving was started in a kitchen. Today the company is a worldwide organization still nurtured by the founders' talent and passion. They have succeeded in creating a brand with a mission, one that promises to be a household name for generations to come. http://www.theartofshaving.com
