Each person makes their own choices in life and it is how we shape our children’s lives with our choices that can help them make their own. Sometimes however we may need a little help along the way. Either we didn't learn something in our lives and have no clue on how to teach our children, or like so many other young adults who want to decide things for themselves they refuse to listen to their parents. Then there are those few great young minds who seek to do more in life and achieve success on their own. One of these kind individuals that we decided to showcase is the name Lauren Sangalis. We met in college and she quickly became a mentor for me. Her quick to catch on and leadership qualities were the main thing I noticed right off the bat. She was very involved in many extracurricular activities in school and made remarkable progress in a variety of different programs. The Arizona Junior Achievement Program is a great program that can help your child in learning about their future and how to make decisions that will affect it. From looking at economics to learning about possible career decisions there are many choices in this program that can help your student become an informed adult. Every student could use the information they gain, just ask Lauren Sangalis who has been learning public management and policy. She may one day be changing how we do things in a local city or government office with the skills she has acquired in the prestige’s school of Arizona. Each program involves between eight and ten lessons that are around 45 minutes each. It is time well spent and the benefits your child gains will help and stay with them throughout their lives. This is beneficial for many different reasons but mainly to help the child mature into a well-rounded adult. Focused on their career and disciplined for responsibilities is an attainable goal for the program and award. Much time and effort needs to be put into this program and if you come out on top well then its evident you are at the top of your class. When asked the students about receiving this award they all responded with similar answers. “Study, Hard work, and perseverance was the primary factor between me and my class mates,” said Lauren Sangalis with a bright smile on her face. We think that Lauren will go far in her travels with not only a grade A attitude but the skills to back it up.
