Project Manager/ Lead Design Engineer – Hydropower Design/Planning Phase Our Client Is an experienced Hydropower Project Manager/ LeadEngineer is required by a rapidly expanding IPP with power plantassets across South East Asia including traditional powergeneration and hydropower projects. We are looking for someone totake the lead in all design and planning phases and provide projectmanagement and technical engineering expertise to the delivery ofkey studies and investigations relating to greenfield projects. Job Description – You will be working out of a head officelocation with local travel to key sites under investigation,responsible for managing the initiation phase and concept phasestudies of hydropower projects. You will be tasked with building anew project team of consultants and engineers with the aim ofproviding decision making support to all capital investments (megascale projects) and technically leading the team. Candidate Requirements – Those applying should have a minimum10 years relevant engineering experience with a strong backgroundin Hydropower projects it is expected you will have come from aGeotechnical, Civil or Environmental engineering discipline. Yourproject experience should include a broad exposure to Hydropowerissues including but not limited to: Geotechnical, siteinvestigations, project optimization, technical/ economicfeasibility studies, cost estimation, environmental impact, powersystem integration and scheduling. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of the conceptphase studies for new, greenfield hydropower projects and be a partof building a high quality design and planning team.
