Hair is an integral part of women, though men might have hair related issues, too. Earlier, it was an easy task to walk into a store and pick products and walk right out. But now, things are complicated and the market is packed with numerous products. We don't know what's required and what isn't, normally. They say hair care products, then styling products, then styling care products and what not! But, what are essentials? This is a matter of personal choice and requirements. The products vary with one's hair type or problems. When you have healthy locks, you'll need a good hair oil, gentle shampoo and conditioner. In case you have wavy locks, you might need something to tame your hair, whereas, for damaged hair, special care is needed. So, it is all about what your hair needs and what will suit it best. Whether you have normal, dry or oily hair, you should use hair oil. You could buy one that's lighter if you don't prefer a greasy look. But, you can never skip oil. In this modern era, we all ignore oil and think it is old-fashioned or greasy. But, only oil could moisturize, nourish, repair and rejuvenate your hair. I oil my hair thoroughly and liberally a couple of hours before shower and apply adequate oil, once it is air-dried. I apply it before venturing out, so pores are still open and clean to receive the oil. I always prefer a leave-in hair conditioner for my hair. Yes, it is gentle compared to wash-off conditioner and will also, nourish and shine my hair. Yes, it doesn't restore lost moisture alone, but adds a nice shine to my hair. If your hair is damaged as a result of styling or heat, conditioner is a must. I apply a very mild shampoo, so my hair's nutrients and moisture are retained. Harsh or chemical laden shampoos can rip-off moisture and nourishment, besides damaging the hair. I opt for daily use shampoo, though I wash my hair 2 - 3 times a week I use a wide-toothed comb for detangling my wavy hair and normal comb for regular combing, but both are wooden combs I rarely make use of a brush and don't use hair dryer even if I don't have time! They'll break and damage your hair. At times, I use the dryer without heat, during important occasions, but use a protective cream. I use Argan based hair nourishment products as they're light, nutrient-rich, restore and rejuvenate my hair and promotes long and lustrous locks. They're the best nourishment for hair and do a great job at easing frizz. After all, women want healthy hair. Isn't it? Of course, men can follow these tips, albeit, with a few tweaks!
