If you are a very skinny guy and most of your friends and families are making fun of your body then it is time to start gaining muscle mass. If you want to know how to gain muscle mass then the first thing you need to do is to enhance your daily calorie intake and bulk up your body with right strength training exercises. If you follow these two things carefully then it is possible to grow muscle mass naturally. Read further to discover the best ways to gain muscle mass naturally within few months.

The overall process to gain muscle mass

There are basically two factors that you need to focus on in order to improve your muscle mass. The first thing is to incorporate the healthy weight gain diet and the second factor is to start implementing the right strength training exercise schedule on a daily basis.

1) Follow the right weight gain diet In order to gain muscle mass, it is important to gain calories naturally. Without enough calories, it is not possible to build up the body you desire. To gain enough calories, you need to prepare a health weight gain diet that should contain ideal mix of proteins, carbohydrates, fresh fruits and green vegetables. You need to add food items that are rich in terms of proteins such as fish, eggs, chicken, milk, beans, etc.

Fresh fruits and green vegetables such as bananas, mangos, raisins, carrots, corn, and peas can be an excellent addition to your daily diet. Granola breakfast cereals and bread made up of rye and bran can be great sources of carbohydrates and calories. Drink milk and fruit juices on a regular basis. Try to increase the eating frequency up to 5-6 meals a day. All these food items can provide you the enough calories to gain muscle mass naturally in few months.

2) Perform the right strength training exercises Along with the right weight gain diet, it is essential to implement right strength training exercise routine on a daily basis. Start lifting weights regularly. Start slowly like 2-3 times a week and increase the frequency up to 5-6 times a week as you increase your capability to lift weights. Try to add multi-joint and total body exercises such as bench presses, squats, dips, pull-ups, barbell rows and overhead presses.

These core exercises are important to grow muscle mass in particular body parts. It is also necessary to start with free weight exercises in the beginning stages because machine exercises can create too much strain for your muscles in the initial stages. Take sufficient rest of at least 24 to 48 hours between two weight lifting sessions. This is important to allow your body muscles to get fully recovered before another weight lifting session. Whenever you finish your daily workouts, it is essential to replenish your protein store. You can do the same by drinking protein shakes on a regular basis after your workouts.

Follow this strength training workout schedule and keep following the weight gain diet as mentioned above. With these tips, you can easily gain muscle mass naturally in few months.
