Further, you gain additional skills, while developing contacts with people who could matter. Moreover, the employers are interested to know what else you are doing these days apart from looking for a job.
- Job bank: Check the job banks regularly as they provide current job openings in different fields and locations of different companies and organizations.
 HOW You should be clear of what you are looking for. Though it’s all right to tell an employer that you are keen to learn and do anything, the employers often tend to believe that you are desperate to get any job. That makes it imperative to decide after your graduation what you are after and stick to that. - Your Experience: Your experience by way of volunteering, internship or part time jobs matters a lot. It demonstrates that you have experience in your chosen field.
- Understand your special field: After graduation, you should study to gain maximum possible knowledge in your chosen field of interest as employers are most likely to question you on that. You can know more about the companies by going through their websites, industry magazines and by attending their conferences and seminars etc.
- Organize a strong but honest resume: An effective resume helps to market yourself to prospective employers. Have a professional resume that matches the requirements of the posting you are applying for. You can seek help from many websites telling you how to make your resume impressive.
- Ensure that you are able to prove the claims you made in your resume. You should understand that personnel interviewing you have come across all kinds of candidates, some of whom made false claims or lied about their experience or achievements. That’s what makes the Mississauga employers to become suspicious at times and the only way to convince them is providing an effective detailed support of your claims.
