Author Comment / Biography:
My family immigrated to New Zealand from the North of England when I was ten years old, which I was not too happy about at first. I was terribly lonely now all my friends were twelve thousand miles away, so I started writing and haven't stopped! Now I'm twenty-one, recently graduated, and trying to find my place in the world. I have, however, learned to appreciate just how lucky I am to live in New Zealand.

October 19, 2013

If you’ve never been on a campervan holiday before it’s good to take advice from someone who has, especially on the subject of what to bring with you. Even if you have been on one before, consulting a list can relieve the paranoia of packing. This list is here to help!

2. 10 Things to Do in Dunedin
October 03, 2013

Dunedin is a cool city. 4. Why You Should Take a Campervan to Mount Maunganui
August 24, 2013

Like Mount Fujiyama and the River Avon, New Zealand’s Mount Maunganui has a tautological name: it literally means Mount Big Mountain. Officially, it’s supposed to be called Mauao, but no one can say that, so everyone just calls it The Mount.

It’s not much of a mountain really, more a big hil...

6. What You Get in a New Zealand Campervan Rental
August 05, 2013

The first time my family hired a campervan, I had no idea what to expect. I was twelve years old – my little sister was nine – and I had never even stepped inside a campervan before. I remember getting off the plane in Christchurch and being taken to the campervan hire depot. As hulking as some of t...

8. Prices in New Zealand
July 29, 2013

When planning a holiday in New Zealand, it is important to remember that things are not as cheap as they used to be. The New Zealand dollar has risen a considerable amount over the past few years, and the remote location and small population of New Zealand means that certain items are more expensive...
