Love is a journey Though it is a slow burden-laden trip Occasioned with pains and thrills Hurdles and obstacles Yet that is not enough reason to give up For whom do you want to leave it up? Why give up on yourself When love hasn't rejected you in itself And your Creator hasn't given up on you Himself Does your Bible not contain That the God of the mountain Is still God in the valley When things look uptight He'll make them go upright God of the hard times Is still God in the good times God of the night Is the same God in the daylight The love journey has its twists and turns Yet it is a journey you are expected to embark on You are on it seemingly alone Yours are the fears and the tears Yours still are the pains and the gains If you stumble and fall You are expected to rise and move unless you are marked for failure If you walk on and win at last You enjoy the successes and the smiles Irrespective of what's on the way March on towards your goal Your situations and all odds Can never make God look odd His love for you is undying His cares for you unending His plans for you are the best For you are His best Your sun will rise again The storms will cease again Cry if you can Rest if you must But march on towards the fulfillment of your dreams God has instructed you not to fear For He is working out the best for you... The Creator of time Can never be off time Bear your cross, carry your load Till you encounter the helping hand Of another wonderful partner Who will do for you that which you long desire Who will assist you in bearing the burdens of pain At this time of grief Fix your gaze on God He will surely make your day brighter and gay The pains may increase Joy may seem elusive But in that course for love Don't give up For the God of love will surely bear you up So long as you don't give up You would sure get to your destination It doesn't matter how long it takes The end surely will justify the means.
