Technology has always been fascinating to me because of how fast it advances throughout time. When it comes to business, it opened up a whole new world of marketing. Back then there weren't as many ways. You had newspaper ads, radio ads, billboards, flyers, and advertising mail. Don't get me wrong. They're effective, but they can suck up your money if you don't know what you're doing, plus not all these methods are easy to track. Nowadays, there are so many more ways you can market your business, and for cheap too. Blogging and SEO Social media marketing Paid advertising Podcasts And so many more. But this is also a challenge in and of itself because the amount of choices can be so overwhelming. And the other thing is, you're not just competing with your local businesses anymore, you're competing with thousands, maybe even hundreds of thousands of businesses similar to yours around the world now. With all these businesses creating content every single day, it's easy for you to get lost in that vast sea. And if you're not creating enough content, your audience will forget you very quickly. The solution? List building and email marketing. Using the methods I mentioned above for the sole purpose of getting your audience to your email list, then emailing them regularly. You can either email as little as once per week or as many as once per day so you're always in the front of their minds.. I wouldn't recommend any less frequently than once a week. People already get so many emails including yours. If you email less than once a week, you're likely to be forgotten. About the author: Hi, I'm Ellisen and I'm a copywriter.
