The protection of the protectors is vital. The protection of the force is biggest challenge for command. The threat possessed by the very important persons and the force is complex with the Remote Controlled Improvised Explosive Devices (RCIED’s) being used by the terrorists. The guerilla warfare technique is often applied in remote areas. The wide use of the technically advanced weapons and explosives has to be dealt with some technically advanced jamming equipment. The jamming equipment is a technology for restricting the RCIED’s. RF inhibitors are one such kind. The RF Inhibitors are the jamming equipments that ultra portable enough to cover the cell phone network and the vehicle-mounted networks. Force Protection Jamming Equipment The analysis of the technical force protection and the jamming equipment usage has to be met. The ECS does it in a perfect manner. The range of the force protection jamming equipments in the electronically harsh environment offer following roles: • Man pack • Static site • Carry forward • Vehicle • Vehicle convoy The RF Jamming equipments are widely used in the protection of the VIP, Force protection and the counter task protection. The Enterprise control systems recommend following jamming equipments: KESTREL: These are lightweight man pack jammer. These are light weight and they can easily be deployed. They can easily fit in the bag pack or a frame. GRIFFIN: They are sophisticated systems designed specifically for vehicle mounted use. FALCON PLUS: Designed for vehicle mounted use, these systems give quick response to the RCIED’S threats DART SERIES: They are briefcase stereotyped and the easy deployment makes them handy at the work places. The rugged briefcase equipments extend their range in UHF, Satellite Phone, 3G and WLAN bands. The jamming equipments are now available in the next generation protocols. Their use has been accomplishing the protection against RCIED’s threats.
