Here are the common misconceptions and disinformation about SEO:
1) Meta tag keywords matter: Meta tags forms the text that is displayed along with the link when the cursor is pointed. Google openly disclosed that they never supported these tag systems and such efforts won't speed up the website rank. 3) Google prefers keyword-rich domains or keyword stuffing: Blanketing the web with links, submitting your site to hundred of directories as well as having too many links with the exact same keywords and irrelevant links are all frowned upon by search engines-especially Google.
4) Inbound links will boost your ranking: Search engines, Google in particular, will turn down the ones who try to game the system whereas a healthy mix of relevant links and keywords may enhance your position on these search engines.
5) Page rank is the only fruit: Page rank is the link analysis algorithm used by Google with the purpose to set the ranking of websites. In today’s time Google has evolved beyond any single indicator of improved ranking. Therefore factors such as relevant and unique content and keywords while avoiding the stuffing of keywords and gaming the system matters a lot for a noticeable growth.
6) SEO is all about trickery: Attempting to trick Google or Bing or manipulating the search engine result is a very bad idea as you will risk your site to be removed from the index. Instead opt for uniqueness and originality in your content and functioning to drive organic publicity. Due to the ever changing landscape of internet there is always a scope to better optimize a domain. No professional SEO marketing company can guarantee the results they can only pledge their efforts and the results are defined by the end users and algorithms.
