People consider Chinese astrology as an art. The reason of Chinese astrology is to aid individuals acquire their objectives through consciousness and steady advances of the mind and soul. Just like the western astrology, you can consult Chinese astrology to know about your future, like career, relationship, love, likes and dislikes, good fortune and lot of other things . Chinese astrology is created of a 12 year cycle which has 12 animals to represent every year, they are better known as the Chinese Zodiacs. The animals which are arranged in a particular order are rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, sheep (or goat), monkey, rooster, dog, and pig. The perfect genisis of the twelve animal systems is still not known. But there is a tale behind its origination, that is the Jade King wasn't doing anything and was feeling bored. He din't see what was happening on Earth, as he had servants satisfying his every want. He concluded that he wished to see some animals on the Earth and thus he sent his advisors to get 12 animals for him. The advisor initially sent an invitation to the Rat, asking him to also get the cat, because the Rat was envious he avoided the cat from knowing the news. Other invitations were sent to the Ox, the Tiger, the Rabbit, the Dragon, the Snake, the Horse, the Ram, the Monkey, the Rooster and the Dog, asking for their attendance the following day. They lined up in front of the king, and soon he saw that they summed only eleven, than 12 that he wanted. The Jade king sent his servant down to Earth to get the twelfth animal. The servant ran into a man carrying a Pig, and snatched it and presented it to the king. The animals lined up in front of the king in any order. The Rat, being smallest of the remaining, climbed on the Ox's back and began to play the flute. This impressed the king greatly and he was happy. He gave the Rat primary position. The second stood the Ox for his true sportsmanship quality and the third stood the Tiger as he was quite strong. The Rabbit was given fourth place, the Dragon fifth, the Snake sixth, the Horse seventh, the Ram eighth, the Monkey ninth, the Rooster tenth and the Dog eleventh. Because of the kings nature and as the Pig arrived at the end, it was given the Twelfth place. After the procession got over, the cat begged the king to revaluate but he did not agree with the cat. There are 5 elements in the Chinese astrology. These elements were Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water, always being given in that order because it is said to be a continuous procedure, that is Wood generates Fire; Fire generates Earth; Earth generates Metal, Metal generates Water, and Water generates Wood, and as it goes back to its beginning. Last but not least there is the cosmic and divine strength that influences the entire Chinese astrology system. This force is termed as The Yin and The Yang. The Yin symbolizes the female and the Yang symbolizes the male. A dissimilar explanation states that the Ying stands for the Evil and the Yang stands for the Good. And when both are taken into consideration, Ying and Yang, create harmony and everlasting balance. The amalgamation of Yin and Yang is the veiled power in the wake of the Chinese Horoscope system. Chinese astrologers are not strict determinists. They do not believe a person's destiny is already given accurately at the moment he or she was born. However, they do believe in the philosophy that the time and the birth place set the limits of a person's freedom and liberty. What happens within these boundaries is influenced not only by own choice also by outside issues such as locality, financial situation and the like.
