Reasons Why Short Form DRTV is Beneficial


 
Advertising
There is not a limit on the benefits your product will experience as a result of short form DRTV advertising. Since direct response television makes it easier for consumers to purchase products they are interested in the level of sales will certainly increase as a result. Since customers enjoy watching infomercials and learning about new products and how they are used it is likely viewers will watch a great deal of the infomercial before they pick up the phone to make a purchase. Because of this the infomercial needs to be informative, constantly demonstrating the product, and regularly issuing a call to action to bring in sales.

Short form DRTV is not like traditional television commercials for one simple reason: direct response. Since direct response advertising requires a phone number, website, or physical address to be included in the advertisement the marketer will be able to get a more affordable advertising rate. By including direct contact information companies are ensuring that their potential customers will be able to contact them at any time to make a purchase. This could be during the infomercial or at any time afterwards when the consumer realizes they truly need the product hey saw advertised.

Many consumers swear by direct response television and are very happy to shop this way. That's simply because the vast majority of products advertised via short form DRTV are high quality products offered at affordable prices. Add this to the benefit of being able to buy from the comfort of your own home and have the item shipped to you and you have the perfect advertising method.

This is especially beneficial for viewers who have small children and don't have time to shop outside of the home and even seniors and viewers with disabilities. Shopping from home is fast, easy, and can be done while cleaning the house, tending to the kids, or any other number of home activities.

In fact, this method of advertising is so effective that many Fortune 500 companies have begun advertising this way. Companies like Home Depot, the Sharper Image, and others have used short form DRTV to advertise directly to their customers. It's effective, fast, and best of all it works.

Short form DRTV advertisers have relied on A. Eicoff & Co. for their DRTV needs since 1959.
