During the early part of any relationship when both parties are wonderfully blissfully in love there is a tendency to believe that feeling is all that is needed to carry them through any and all situations. That feeling of walking on air can be very pleasant and all too often very deceptive. Got Their Back Marriage and romance mean you are in it together. Few things can threaten a relationship like believing you can count on your spouse only to find out they are nowhere to be found because they do not have the resolve to deal with the obstacles. When trouble strikes they bail out and leave you holding the bag. If you cannot trust them and vice versa the chances of building a strong romantic relationship will go down the tubes fast. 3. Humble Pie Things cannot be your way all the time. When for instance a disagreement looks like it may escalate take the high road and let your spouse have the final word on the subject. See if you can find an area of agreement. Most arguments are about ego. The strong desire to justify ourselves. If you can let it go then let it go.
