Whenever you hear the term biomass it means that it is safe and natural in use. Biomass is basically made from dead or alive plants, trees and woods, small chips and pieces of wood, lawn clipping and roots of plants and any form of plant or tree can be easily utilized in the form of biomass. The world today that we live in is full of pollution, harmful gases and chemicals are going in to our atmosphere and damaging the ozone layer. We are already facing the consequences of using such harmful fossil fuel such as oil and gas and other chemicals used in different industries which are constantly polluting our environment and damaging the ozone layer. We are facing with the consequences of global warming and the rapid melting of the glaciers have become a serious problem as the source of clean drinking water will run out. In olden days people used the only source of biomass power, there was no source of electricity and no fuels were burnt such as oil and gas to run cars and kitchen. The people in those days use the natural biomass power and source, knowingly or unknowingly doesn’t make a difference as they never harmed or polluted the environment. Such an example can be the burning of wood to produce heat and light can be said a biomass technology of that time. Biomass power lost its use when the world started becoming modernized. When industries were set up, cars and airplanes were built, gas and oil extracted from ground for different purposes, all these things are fossil fuels and all of them are harmful for the environment. We should spread the knowledge about biomass power and technology as sooner or later in future we will run out of the fossil fuels as they will become extinct as they are not a renewable source of power. We should strongly support the use of biomass power and technology and hope the organizations and different governments of countries start noticing the usage and advantages of biomass power. Biomass power is a renewable source of energy and is not harmful for the environment and the atmosphere. Biomass is made from natural items such as plants and trees so when they burn they do not emit harmful chemicals like fossil fuels does, biomass emits Co2 when it burns but this Co2 is utilized by plants in their growing process, unlike fossil fuel they emit harmful chemicals such as carbon monoxide, sulphur dioxide and other harmful chemicals. Biomass technology can be very helpful and is the best alternative available from fossil fuels as they are also turning in to extinct. People are gradually knowing about the importance of biomass power and are hoping that the manufacturers of cars and industries start making products which run on biomass power as this power is not very hard to invent and the biomass ingredients are not hard to find.
