I am not really used to buy hidden object games because they do not have replay value, but Gardenscape really got my attention and I love this one. The game presentation is very nice. The story starts with you having inherited the house of your grandfather and your responsibility will be to restore the garden and you will eventually join a contest of the gardener’s club. You will need to visit 15 rooms to sell items hidden in the rooms. You will serve a total of 20 customers per room asking you to find them their item. You can serve up to five clients at once. These customers will appear on the left side of the screen giving you the name of the item that they want to buy and how much they will pay for it. A stack of coins is shown in place of the customer when you find the object they want to get. You will need to click on the money immediately in order for the other customer to order, or wait until you finish serving the rest of the customers in line. This way, you can control the number of clients you can handle at once. Remember if you make the customers wait too long, the amount they are going to pay you will be reduced. This is regardless of whether you choose the untimed or time mode. There are three kinds of tips in the game. You can use the standard tips of which if you do not use you may get bonus money. Another hint type is the thermometer hidden in the rooms. If the thermometer changes from cold to hot when moving in the scene, it indicates the proximity of the object to be found so try to have a look on it while moving around. The third type is the camera which flashes a bright white light and will briefly reveal the hidden item. Occasionally, you will also receive lists from some clients seeking to buy a set of 20 items, for example, 20 coffee machines hidden in one room. Also, there are times where you will need to find a set of 20 objects hidden in the rooms in addition to the regular 20 hidden items. There are also some loose coins hidden somewhere in every scene. If you want some extra cash, then do not miss them. The good news is that not only the list of items you find changes, but most of the item locations in the room (and coins) are changed! So, if you find a broom next to the door, it would be placed in different location and size next time! I have nothing bad to say about this game except, perhaps, that I want another version of it. It would be nice to have more rooms or even a larger garden. The author has been an avid writer for various topics online for a couple of years now.
