It is not just teenagers and young people who suffer with acne but a vast majority of adults as well. There can be many causes of acne such as hormonal changes in the body, improper hygiene. When it comes to skin care for adult acne, there are several things you can do right now to help end the breakouts and repair your skin.

Picking pimples can be a grave mistake and it can aggravate acne. It sends bacteria down into the follicle and increases inflammation. This might make the condition worse and your pimples will take a long time to get healed.

Utilize steam or moist heat as a way to open the pores. This can be done by soaking small towels in crock-pots as part of your facial routine. Steam the towel until hot and apply to the face until it has cooled. Next, cleanse the skin with your facial cleanser and rinse.

Similarly, take the time to exfoliate the skin to remove dead skin cells. This will help you unclog your pores and will make your skin smoother. Use a facial scrub that contains natural ingredients twice a week and remember to pat your skin dry so that you do not irritate your skin.

Exfoliation is another step to be performed on a regular basis throughout your treatment. Hair products like gel and hair spray can cause breakouts because they are oily. Change your pillow case once a week so that the dirt from your hair and body do not build up.

Apply Warm Honey in your face especially at the acne location. Like ancient Egyptian tale, Cleopatra used honey to have a delicate skin. She used it as daily skin care. We could try it too. Heat some honey and apply it in the acne in warm condition. Let it there about 10 minutes and rinse it with warm water.
