It would seem William and Kate have their eye on historic Kensington Palace for their London home as man and wife. While it has been widely speculated that the pair have chosen a modest cottage in Wales close to British Army barracks where Prince William is currently training, an article published by The Telegraph suggests the couple is keen to source a suitable pad in London whence his duties finish. And not just any will do; no, it is being suggested that Wills and Kate have their eye on his childhood apartment - the one formerly occupied by his mother, Princess Diana. During her engagement interview, Kate spoke highly of her fiancees mother, calling her an "inspirational woman" whom she would "look up to on this day". The official residence of Princess Margaret, Princess Alice, the Duke and Duchess of Kent and Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, and unofficially used by Zara Phillips and Prince Harry, Kensington Palace is ideally poised to great shopping, hotels like the Park Lane hotel London, as well as royal and parliamentary offices required by the future King and Queen of England.
