Today’s business world is a knowledge driven economy and therefore seeks solutions that can enable enhanced technology transformation with ease. Enterprises in 2011 will want enterprise collaboration solutions to offer enhanced access to information and workforces across all sectors of the enterprise, swifter availability of data for better and more speedy decision making, enhanced flexibility of diverse processes, flawless associations across geographically dispersed teams, improved knowledge sharing processes and best utilization of resources for enhanced ROI. The year will also see enterprises thinking ahead to the future and devising strategies to enable better collaborations and optimally implement them. Emphasis on certain elements expected from an enterprise collaboration solution will certainly be on the rise. For instance, enterprises will want their solutions to be offered greater security. Another aspect that is bound to change will be the need to connect in a timely manner with data across diverse time zones and geographies. Bringing about improved effectiveness when it comes to communication and on-time delivery will be yet another aspect that will be greatly focused upon this year. Although the focus will be on bringing about innovative ideas and making them work, the emphasis on zero errors will also remain while engaging enterprise collaboration solutions. The mantra behind optimized collaboration solutions will remain the same- to maximize savings for the enterprise and ensure diverse enterprise benefits as well. Enterprises will demand that solutions should remain consistent and true to the existing systems rather can bring about vast changes to the systems environment, because that will mean enhanced costs. At the very least enterprises in 2011 will want their solutions to ensure efficient functioning of their systems and processes to bring about actual real-time collaboration even as inefficiencies are corrected along with oft-repeated errors.
