Build a Backyard Shed a Rent Free Office Shed

Home Improvement,Home Repair,Crafts

With today’s cost of gas it would pay off to build a backyard shed a rent free office shed. An office shed would be a great place to work from home. You are apart from the family, there is no commute and the rent is free. Constructing a garden office shed for yourself will cost upwards of $2,000 or more considering your needs and the options you will choose.

Advantages to build a backyard shed into a garden office. The cost and your long term savings are one of the best reasons definitely 2 thumbs up. Operating a small business office from home will cost less and you have all the same advantages. Gas savings, time commuting and there are expenses you can write off at tax time.

If you need to be able to see clients to conduct your business or even have to share it with a partner or the hired help you will need a large garden office shed with a washroom and some creature comforts. There also is the fact you're not on the road for an hour or two so you will get more done in less time.

An office shed is much better than the spare room office where you're subject to all the noises that come with it. Kids crying, vacuum cleaner, loud television many other distractions. Having an office garden shed will separate you from the house and be a much more creative and professional atmosphere than working in an office off the hallway.

What kind of design should you use to build a backyard shed? The old fashion rustic look is popular and appealing to the eye. Yes there are attractive aluminum, steel, and vinyl designs but for my money I'll go with wood strictly because natural look and appeal there are many designs to choose from old antique type with a wooden wagon wheel or weather vane for that old look or go geometrically modern. Be creative and use some imagination make it yours.

You can find designs to build a backyard shed for your garden office that will have windows, porches, you'll probably need a washroom and the electric to support your office equipment there is also weather conditions you need to consider keeping it cool in summer and warm in winter.

What size of shed do you go with? For an office shed that will have a wash room and a small area for your coffee, microwave and mini frig. Then space for your deck chairs, computer, printer a filing cabinet room for your client and their laptop and still feel comfortable.

You will want your garden office shed to have plenty of room and some to spare. I would suggest starting out with 12' by 12' or 12' by 18'. With a rather nice porch that can make for a nice outside area for consultations and coffee breaks.

would you like to learn more about free shed plans, how to build a picnic table and access to a woodworking program with 16,000 plans and a 150 video library, 100% satisfaction guarantee, a $20 discount I invite you to go to my website build backyard sheds.com
