Some people consider that purchasing a slide phone is kind of old-fashioned just because there is not a touch screen, which has become so popular recently. Anyway, if there are really people who think about purchasing a slide phone instead of a touch-screen one, they should know that their choice would not be bad whatsoever. The majority of the people do not even ask themselves the question why the slide phone model has remained for so long on the market. And that is such an important question with such an important answer: it has remained for so long because it is a good-quality and reliable mode of a cell phone. For instance, one of the greatest things about the slide phone is the large screen. The other types of cell phones have buttons and extremely small screen because if their screen was not small, the phones themselves would be huge. However, the genius idea of the slide phone makes it possible that there is a large screen and QWERTY at the same time- that is possible because the keypad is actually located under the screen and it can be used when the phone screen slides. Another good thing about the slide phone is the protection of the keypad. As it is located under the screen, it can be used only when the user slides the phone screen. That means that there is a smaller chance of breaking any button or something like that. Perhaps, the only reason why the slide phones are not as preferred as the touch-screen phones is the fact that they are less popular. And that is normal- a slide phone has existed on the market from the very beginning which is why the users kind of got bored of it. At the same time, touch-screen phones are taken as a breath of fresh air. They are something new, interesting and revolutionary but it could not be claimed that a touch-screen phone is a better option than a slide phone.
